Please note baking is not my forte`so I used a ready made no fail mix but you could probably add this to your favourite from scratch chocolate cake recipe and leave out the eggs and oil – just sayin 🙂
I experimented with this over the weekend to rave reviews. I can of chickpeas (pureed with 1/2 can water I used the blender, 1 large banana mashed with chickpeas , I box chocolate cake mix ( whatever type you prefer I used chocolate fudge) Mix chickpea banana mixture with cake mix thoroughly pour into greased cake pan and bake at 350 F for 30-35 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean. Cool thoroughly and enjoy.
It was so moist and yummy even without any icing. It also works with a Gluten free chocolate cake mix – tried that too 🙂 Not actual pic of cake for effect only but it looked just as good I swear 🙂 My sixteen-year-old son inhaled it before I could take a picture.
